Imprendo ItaliaGeneral Contractor IT

General contractor & property developer

Not only what we build. But how we build it.

How we run a site matters as much as the work we hand over: for the people working on it, for the places entrusted to us, for the environment around them.

We are a general contractor and, at the same time, a property developer. This dual role lets us take on the entire life cycle of a project — development, detailed design, construction, commissioning and management — within a single perimeter of responsibility.

We work where the margin for error is narrow: hotels that stay open, hospitals that never close, listed buildings and institutional headquarters. One point of contact, from the first survey to handover.

Company

Two trades, one responsibility.

Imprendo Italia combines the operational structure of a general contractor with the commercial outlook of a property developer. It is this dual role that allows us to take on the whole life cycle of a project — and to be answerable for it.

We were set up to keep operations lean and the chain of decisions short: a flat organisation, free to concentrate on the quality of the work, on precision and on meeting agreed deadlines.

We work on projects that rarely allow improvisation: hotels in operation, residential complexes, healthcare facilities, listed buildings and monuments. Settings where the critical variable is not only technical but organisational: sites to be run without interrupting the client's business, heritage constraints to be observed to the letter, deadlines that do not move.

Our model cuts down the number of handovers. Development, detailed design, construction, commissioning and subsequent management all stay within a single perimeter of responsibility: one point of contact, one chain of decisions, one party answerable for the result.

  • Ambition in what we take onWe take on the projects our clients consider difficult, and we see them through.
  • Verifiable competenceEvery project is run by qualified professionals, with roles and responsibilities on record.
  • Deadlines metThe handover date is a contractual commitment, not an optimistic forecast.
  • Environmental responsibilityWe reduce the impact of the work on its setting, throughout its life cycle.

Services

Four divisions, one complete cycle.

Our work spans the whole life of a property: from acquiring the site to maintaining the building in use.

01

New build and land development

Property ventures developed from feasibility study to planning permission, through construction and sale. Infrastructure works, structures and finishes handled as a single process.

02

Restoration and refurbishment

Work on existing, listed and monumental buildings: structural strengthening, conservative restoration, upgrading of building services and energy efficiency, in full compliance with heritage requirements.

03

Asset management

Enhancing property portfolios: reviewing the estate, setting the intervention strategy, repositioning assets and monitoring returns over time.

04

Property & Facility Services

Routine and major maintenance, plant operation, on-site technical teams and integrated services for buildings in use, including estates spread across Italy.

Sustainability

The how comes before the how much.

Our business is geared to delivering assets that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and to the transition towards a low-carbon economy.

This is not a statement of intent bolted on at year end. We consulted 75 stakeholders across 8 groups, cross-referenced their priorities with our own objectives and built a materiality matrix aligned with the 2030 Agenda. The ESG Plan and our three-year targets follow from that matrix.

  • Site waste managed for recovery and separate collection
  • Control of the substances and chemical agents used
  • Energy efficiency of completed works, certified to ISO 50001
  • Purchasing assessed on environmental criteria too, under ISO 20400
  • Staff training on climate mitigation and adaptation
3Good health and well-beingSafeguarding the health and well-being of those who work on site and of those who will live in the building.
4Quality educationBuilding skills for employment and spreading education for sustainable development.
8Decent workCreating quality employment, protecting rights and safety, using resources better.
12Responsible consumptionSustainable management of materials, control of substances and waste reduction.
13Climate actionTraining our people on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
